Get Free: Brighton Gig Picks This Week – 2/3/2015

so, another month ends and another swings round and catches you in the jaw – it’s not all bad though, you may have gained another grey hair and a bit more weight but man, there’s some good gigs this week. Artists coming from all over; Jungle, Ariel Pink, 2manydjs, Underworld, The Stranglers – the list goes on. Anyway, here’s our picks for this week…

Monday 2/3/2015 – Golding descend upon Sticky Mike’s bringing their eclectic indie pop sound, it’s set to be a one for the movers and shakers. With them, they bring grungers, The Rocking Horse Club and the two piece, tub thumping garage rock duo, ARXX. It’s going to be a cool old night so ensure you’re down, £3 on the guestlist (Facebook) or 4 of your pretty pounds on the door.

Tuesday 3/3/2015 – Lactose throw their arms (and EPs) wide open at Green Door Store and invite you to come on in and join in the fun for absolutely zilch. As you may have guessed from the previous sentence, this is their EP launch so it’s going to be something special. They are supported by the mighty Morning Smoke and Muskets. A cracking lineup causing you zero pounds worth of damage.

Saturday 7/3/2015 – Them punks known as The Vibrators park up at The Prince Albert this Saturday. Touring, recording and still going since ’76; you don’t need any bio from me with these lot, they speak their own story – alas, I’m dead excited for this one. They are supported by Apocalyspe Baby’s, Overload and Brighton’s own Skurvi. £8 in advance, sparkle up you Saturday and have a dance.
