Today is a happy, happy day for the Brighton music scene.
Super Lungs who were named as our number one ’S’ band to keep a beady eye out for have just dropped their debut track. It’s cool, it’s sun kissed, bring the Corona and kick back in this Indian Summer with this little gem. It would make the perfect accompaniment to a Tarantino Spaghetti Western with it’s jangling guitars ricocheting off of one another, bouncing around in merry lulls as smoky vocals usher over the top. It’s part Allah-Las with it’s joyful, tripping West Coast psych sound merged with Velvet Underground-esque chanting vocals, similar to those of Fat White Family.
Catch Super Lungs support Magic Castles at The Prince Albert later this month.
