Brighton’s latest and greatest indie-pop output come in the shape of this trio, Cult Drama. Their latest single ‘Wilt’ has swung our heads, along with many others it would appear. A croon of melodies surface atop of guitars for much of the verse – sharp cuts into the chorus outline the trios dealings in buoyant pop-melodies.
It’s a lovely little number that adds to their previous workings, the likes of ‘Japan’ and ‘Happy Faces’ that draw on bands such as Interpol and Sorority Noise as comparisons. Get into them below.
